Porn
So yesterday was our first day of shooting "old skool" for vh1.
For those of you whom don't know what I am doing in LA I am working as the key makeup artist for the two ladies that are the lead of the show.
It is about two older women whom were very well known in their day. Now 72 and 77 they are taking them around to different aspects of our generation and getting their reactions and responses.
Yesterday they conducted porn auditions.
Several people whom were interested in being in a porn film showed up and "tried out"
Trying out includes:
Answering numerous questions about experience, what they are willing to do, why they are in it, what they like about it ect.
Then they were asked to "stimulate" a piece of fruit such as they would a male or female. (Slices of canalope representing a girl and a banana representing a boy.
Then they were asked to strip down naked.
Then they were asked to get hard (for the men obviously)
Meaning they had to play with themselves in front of the camera, these two older women, and the rest of the crew.
Why.
Me.
A girl that made the desicion to stay a virgin and find sex very sacred.
Why am I to be the one on this show?
Why am I to be the one whom first experience seeing a naked man has to be something less than enjoyable.
Let me give you a couple thoughts on what I think of porn.
1. It turns people into objects. Taking away emotional aspects.
2. It gives people a false expectation of what sex is.
3. It makes something that is supposed to be the deepest form of love and emotion and turns it into a act of getting off and getting off only.
4. It can lead people almost getting ammuned to "just sex" and search for other sexual acts that can help "stimulate" their mind which can lead to things that can be inhummane and unnatural..
5. The porn industry is now targeting kids between the ages of 8-16 because they know that they already have the people that are 18 and over but now want to help corrupt children. For what? To get more money. To help subject kids to pornographic images so they can grow up with a healthy view on sex. Right?
6. Creating expectiations that are unfair to partners of those whom watch porn. Girls don't scream that loud, they cant bend that way, they cant look like that without airbrush, they can't give you as much pleasure as it looks like.
7. Porn bookstores are now 3/1 over the yearly income then the worldwide Mcdonalds.
8. It takes away innocence.
9. There is a better way for people. There are children, teenagers, mothers, daughters, grandmothers, fathers that are turning to porn for something that having sex on camera can not give them.
10. Human trafficing, people getting kidnaped and forced to participate in porn because that is what people "want" they want to see them younger, virgins, boobs bigger, feet, gays, transexuals, transgenders, amateurs, dominatrics, role play, masochism, sadomasochism, bestiality. Just a few. Just a piece of sand in the beach of the porn world.
What will it take?
Im not saying that porn should be outlawed. Because I believe in freedom of choice. Such as God has given me.
Besides, if we didn't have freedom, how could I possibly pick out those whom I want in my life?
How would I know that I have met the man of my dreams, I will look at his freedom of choice and love him for the choices he has made and how he chooses not to look into the unhealthy things that this world offers.
All I know is that yesterday, watching people standing there with fear in thier hearts, emptiness in their eyes, and sorrow and shame in their walk that their is a better way for people. It doesn't need to be them.
I believe porn is prostitution.
People are getting paid to get people off, whether it be directly, or indirectly.
Innocense is something that is longed for and much needed in our generation. Even the porn industry wants it.
I believe that sex should be something that should be shared between people whom are in love.
Something that should stay in the comfort of their own bedroom.
If sex isn't the deepest form of emotions and love then what is?
Tell me?
If people use sex as just a way to get off, then please, buy a doll or use your hand.
Because if we use sex as something other than expressing our deepest form of love for one another and throw it around as something that is of not that much importance.
Then how are we much better than a dog?
